It all started with a simple question: is there a better way to keep dogs safe and contained without the hassle of buried wires? Ken Solinsky, a GPS expert and founder of SpotOn Fence, pondered this question after crossing paths with an irrigation company owner frustrated by constant repairs on broken buried wire fences. Ken, inspired by the challenge, sought out engineer Sung Vivanthana, now our Chief Technology Officer, and asked, “Could GPS technology replace these wires?” That question sparked the journey to create something entirely new—a GPS dog fence that could do everything traditional fences couldn't.
