Pet Keen gives SpotOn 4.5/5 stars. Journalist, Savanna Stanfield, tried it out on her Chihuahua mix, Penny.
They give SpotOn GPS Fence great points for easy setup, a super user-friendly app, the ability to track your dog wherever they are, and portability to set up fences when camping or traveling.
Their pup, Penny, learned the boundaries and system quickly, with the tones being enough to deter her from the boundaries. They did note that the product seemed best for people with dogs of at least 15 pounds and properties on the large side (greater than ½ an acre). It’s a great option for people living on farms or rural areas.
