SpotOn Proven as Most Accurate Smart Collar by World Animal Foundation

REVIEW: World Animal Foundation Conducts Precision Testing - See How SpotOn Performs

The experts at World Animal Foundation (WAF) recently tested the top GPS dog fences to see which system was most precise. In their field test, the team at focused on three different environments: wide open sky, a heavily wooded area, and a suburban setting. In their assessment, editors share:

“I'm always recommending the SpotOn over Halo because I feel like it's been more accurate over time.”

As part of the field tests, WAF sought to see how closely both SpotOn and its competitors stacked up against their claims. For instance, SpotOn was assessed in third-party testing by leading GPS experts at Spirent Labs, which showed it's 7x more accurate and 11x more precise. Similarly, the competitor has claims of unrivaled accuracy.

Upon the conclusion of their testing, WAF reports that SpotOn was much closer to its claims:

“As far as I'm concerned, SpotOn operated as it was intended to operate. I think SpotOn is clearly the most accurate smart collar in the end, overall.”

The journey of the World Animal Foundation began with a deep sense of purpose and a burning desire to make a difference in the world. As animal welfare advocates, we recognized the gaps in knowledge and resources available to pet owners and animal lovers, and we wanted to fill those gaps by providing reliable information attested by experts, long-time pet owners, and experienced zoophilists.
