7 Acres of Freedom for this Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland Mix: Yeti's Story
Meet Yeti, a giant, lovable Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland mix from Michigan!
Yeti is only a year and a half old and has a very mellow personality. He listens very well, but likes to leave the property when his family is at work, sometimes playing in a stinky pond or chasing the neighbor’s ducks. When dog mom Jennie McCormick-Killian started receiving calls from the neighbors telling her that Yeti was often playing on the road, she knew she’d need to find a solution, and fast.
Thanks to the SpotOn Fence, Yeti now has over 7 acres of land to safely roam!
“We walked [the perimeter] 2-3 times a day and he learned very fast,” Jennie says. She loves the peace of mind she gets from the SpotOn Fence. “We love the [tracking] feature, which lets us know where he is on the property. I can also see in my emails if the battery is getting low.”
Yeti is happy to be living his best life off-leash, and Jennie no longer worries about her best friend playing in the road. “We love that Yeti is safe all the time now.” Jennie is also glad that the SpotOn Fence works using GPS satellites—not cell towers—which means she’s never worried that she’ll “lose signal,” despite living in a very rural location.
