I have a 2 year old Maremma/Akbash sheep dog. I love the ability to control her boundaries; yet give her free roam and I don’t have to worry about my livestock, intruders or her leaving my property.
We have a Maremma Sheepdog to watch over our 10 acres. The problem was he was roaming our neighbors land as well as wandering the roads. The SpotOn collar has been a game changer! It took him a couple of days to get the hang of it, but now he knows his boundaries.
I wasn’t sure if it would work on our dog. She’s our guard dog so she needs to be loose, but there’s a leash law in our county. We’ve been working on training and but she’s consistently staying on our 13 acres doing her job! Highly recommended!
