I purchased this collar for my Labrador/Australlian Shepherd mix puppy. She’s very high energy. I couldn’t be happier with it. She learned her boundaries in a matter of days. I had walked her on leash for a little over 2 months before I decided to invest in this. I had one incident of going past her boundary. A squirrel caught her attention. First and last time. She stopped immediately when I told her no. I would highly recommend this product so glad I purchased it. It gives her the freedom and me piece of mind.

Works great and as described!

Stella, our strong-willed, spirited, adventurous Vizsla, got a SpotOn Collar for Christmas, at 7 MO’s she was ready so we began training right away, 3 sessions a day for 4 days with tone and vibration only, at each tone we called “back” and rewarded her. By day two we didn’t need to say “back” she just knew what the tone meant, we continued the training of 3 sessions a day (about 10-20 min each time). On training day 5 we added a distraction and the “tone” alone did not keep her from breaking the fence. We added static at 7 (after testing on ourselves first, did not hurt and we felt it was appropriate) she broke with distraction. We upped it to 8, she broke once more. We are now 3 weeks in. She has not broken since! We have also created a fence for our hunting land which is heavily wooded, it worked great and the GPS also showed us where she was at all times. We have since began training the “whistle” feature on the collar for recall, which is a great extra feature! I spent many, many, many hours researching the top collars, and am SO happy I made the investment in the one I determined (from research) as the best! We wanted safety, security, and a piece of mind knowing whether she is in the yard or hunting she is safe!! My only disappointment is that I didn’t wait a months because SpotOn just released a new version, had I known I may have waited, as I do like the new style and it has a bit of technology/tracking upgrade; BUT nonetheless I am 100% beyond satisfied with our collar, thank you SpotOn!!

The collar is stiff making it a bit difficult to put on. I love the ease of set up.

Miss Birdi May has been given so much freedom to be a pup! It has been so easy to use. The ability to use multi fences keeps her safe at home, at the farm, and on hikes! Also, it has given me a lot of peace of mind knowing she is contained to areas I can observe and ensure her safety. The customer support is top notch and responsive to any issue i.e. training, general wellness. My old inground fence was so limited and if my dog escaped would be scared to return. I've recommended Spoton to everyone.

Our new sochi rescue dog from Ukraine, while being a wonderful lovable addition to our family, has a "thing" for rabbits and squirrels. This would lead her to leave the property. The spot on GPS fence has made a true difference. Even if she breaks the barrier, she returns almost immediately. We've only had spot on for a short time and we see steady improvement. Customer service is exceptional. Thank you all

EASY TO SET UP
WILL BE USING IT MORE IN THE SPRING WHEN WEATHER GETS WARMER DUE TO ALL DAY WORK SCHEDULE AND DAYLIGHT IS ALMOST OVER NOW
BUT BY SETTING UP ON PHONE WAS SO EASY IT IS GOING TO BE PERFECT

Spot on is working great at our new home with our German shorthair and rescue dog. They tested it in the beginning but learned their boundaries quickly and are enjoying their new found freedom too!

We bought an Anatolian dog who happened to avoid all human contact. We had also purchased two of her pups who were two months at the time. We had converted a former out building to house her and the pups until we could win her affection but she turned out to be an escape artist. She once took the pups for a run and we finally found them miles from home. We had pictures proving they were ours but the neighbor posted them on Facebook and she had people from everywhere even out of state wanting to claim them. Our closest neighbor had bird dogs and used SpotOn collars to track his dogs on hunting trips. We knew we had to do something to keep her home even thought we had woven wire fencing for the sheep. We purchased two collars for the pups and momma dog stays home with her girls now. It’s a great feeling to know I can track them anytime of the day or night and the girls don’t object to wearing the collars. They just turned one year old and weigh 100lbs. Because of their size neighbors are a little intimidated by them and therefore it’s even more important that they stay in their pasture.
My nephew recently purchased collars for his service dogs and loves the freedom it gives him to be able to travel with his dogs.

I live alone and my puppy is so important to me. The winters in Michigan can be cold and not I don’t have to go outside every time my boy wants to play in the snow. I have not figured out everything but my son has the same collar so he is a big help.

Best purchase iv made! Was wanting something for my husky to be able to go outside by himself unsupervised. Because if you every owned a Husky they are great escape artists. This colar is on the high side buts its a fraction of the cost of a fence which I did not have the money for a fence or did I really want one because it would get in the way of some things. I looked at many other collars but I kept coming back to this one from three reviews I read on this collar. 3-4 months in and I can say im 100% glad I purchased this collar! Well worth it, my dog can now be left alone for hours while I'm at work or gonna be gone for 12+ hours in the day.

SpotOn has been amazing for our family. We live on a very large piece of property. Before SpotOn our dogs would wander off and bother the neighbors. They were even once posted on Facebook as a nuisance. Very embarrassing. We were looking for a solution. We were apprehensive at first of SpotOn because we were concerned if our dogs could be trained to not cross the fence. After a week they understood the beeping signals from the collars and we never had a problem since. We also visit family frequently who live on a busy street. Our dogs instantly understood the new fence boundaries. This is a fantastic product. We have had a few minor issues with the collars durability and costumer service has been fantastic about replacing parts. Thank you SpotOn!

We got Gabe as a 3 year old just before thanksgiving last year. We had Invisible Fence installed for our last dog. Unfortunately, he died a couple of years ago. So when we got Gabe I intended to use that again. But the fence was broken for at least the second time and with the cost of fixing it at around $300, I decided to investigate GPS fences. I looked at cheaper versions but always came back to Spoton due to all the reviews both on websites and YouTube. I'm really glad I did. I was able to give Gabe a much bigger area to roam and he has learned the limits very quickly. The team at Spoton has been very helpful the couple of times I've called and resolved my issues quickly. So in closing this collar is expensive, but it works and the support is great. I've had friends with cheaper collars that didn't work all the time and because of that I was reluctant to buy a GPS collar, but with my experience so far, I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to be able to let their dog out and not have to go with him every time and not to have to worry about where he might be wondering off to.

Spoton gave our mini husky the freedom and safety he deserved! This collar is the best product and I’ve recommended it to all of our friends with dogs. The accuracy and easy to use app make this a superior product. Plus not having to pay a monthly fee makes choosing this brand a no brainer! Not to mention their customer service has been among the best I’ve ever experienced!!!

We’re generally happy with our SpotOn collar. But if you have a large dog with thick fur like ours, suggest you contact SpotOn and ask if/when they will be offering a third, larger-sizes electrodes for the collar. Our big boy is well-trained with the beeping sounds but he doesn’t feel the electric impulse when another critter temps him over his boundary. SpotOn has told me that long prongs may become available in 2026.

Our experience with SpotOn began at the ending of an almost disastrous outcome for our two dogs, Scout - age 7, and P.J., only six months old. Both are very well trained and never left our large 5-acre yard, but on one very hot summer afternoon they were both taken by car just out of eyesight. Once gone, the search for nearly one month began with over 10,000 people looking for our beloved family members. We live in a thick forest, atop a remote mountain and finding the dogs proved almost impossible, but we never stopped looking.....they were inseparable and that is what kept them alive; somehow they both got away and within only a day of death, the little Corgi made it to a house and the owner called us; we picked him up and knew that Scout had to be close by - but both were 17 miles away in another county. Diligent searching sure enough led to finding Scout within another day and both are reunited. NEVER will we risk losing them again; within the same day I called SpotOn and talked to a compassionate and helpful representative and after looking at all the other options, we selected two of the SpotOn collars and have never regretted that decision. Have there been issues? YES, we have connectivity issues and sometimes a false impulse may be sent out, but after 18 months the collars - and the excellent service - are getting better and better. They are large and bulky for a small dog, but somehow, neither of them will even leave the house without their collars on. This collar and its innovative App give us security and long life for our wonderful 'twins.'

We live in the country, lots of hunting property around us. Our very active dog loves to run as fast as he can. Neighbors don’t appreciate him running through their woods and I can’t say I blame them. This collar has been a life saver! He learned very quickly where the boundaries are, stopped chasing cars and his kennel time had been reduced dramatically..only in there at night now. We have about 7 acres fenced for him, haven’t activated any tracking or other features as we haven’t needed them. Collar charges very quickly, lasts about 2 days, but we take it off at night anyway. We are looking to purchase another collar for our stubborn Great Pyrenees. Thank you for a great product!

Jake loves the outdoors! The collar has given him room to roam. The collar has truly made a difference and works well. If he does leave the area he comes back in immediately. This has decreased, mostly has his nose to the ground and doesn’t pay attention. It truly made a difference in our lives! When I did have questions they were answered immediately. Thank you all so much and Happy New Year!
Adam M.
The collars and my notifications constantly go off at night saying my dogs are outside of the fence when the collars are inside charging. Also, I can stand at the back porch and watch the dogs outside. The map CONSTANTLY shows them dogs outside of the fence when I can physically see them well within the fence boundaries. What this means is that MY DOGS ARE BEING SHOCKED/CORRECTED WHEN THEY ARENT SUPPOSE TO BE AND DEFEATS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT. For the amount of money I have spent on these devices, THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. We have used these collars for over a year and have CONSISTENTLY had issues like this from day one. I’ve just finally gotten fed up enough to leave this review. This product is amazing in theory. However, it is useless and counterintuitive in practice.

These collars have been a life changer as with our 5 acre property and our two dogs silver lab and mountain Bernese liked to roam and happened to find a few of the neighbours chickens. We couldn’t see having our dogs in a fenced kennel while owning property so we decided to try Spot on. One afternoon of training the dogs had it figured out. Dogs do not ever leave their boundary zone and now collars on or not they have learned where to stay. After 9 months my mountain Bernese managed to scratch at his collar enough the power button started to tear. I contacted Spot On and they sent me a replacement right away few questions ask only a couple
Pictures of the damage. Collar showed up quickly and when I went to add collar they had pre programmed it to take over place of the old collar making all my settings and the dog fence swap extremely fast and no hassle. I give these collars and customer service 6 stars

I am not very tech savvy and it was extremely easy to get set-up and be using in just a couple of hours.
The installation of the fences are painless as well. The training of Aggie and myself took the most time.
We are getting to a very comfortable place in a couple of weeks.
Highly recommend trying SpotOn.

It was very hard for me to decide to spend this much money, however my daughter got “herself” a dog which I always seen to end up caring for. He’s a very stubborn blue heeler mix. If I let him out, I had to be out there the whole time or he’d take off. We have a small woody area behind our home he likes to explore, as well as, some fenced friends he plays with thru their fence. However they are two houses down & eventually he would slip around to the front of the fence when I wasn’t paying full attention & then proceed to roam the neighborhood from there.
With this collar, I included part of the woods & his fenced friends. Now I can finally let this dog out without having to go hunt him down or worrying about him getting into something. Worth the cost! I call it “his ears.”

My brother bought this here at Christmas 2025... For his dog... he is impressed with this so far... and so am I... we are very impressed on the GPS features ahown. This is a better feature for us for our dog and our farm. It has different level training features many other companies do NOT have. I have noticed this dog is a herding breed and watches motion all the time. He has it on the lowest setting for her and this dog once it reaches what I call the border area.... she does a 180 degree shift without any sudden reactions from the dog or pain mentally or physically. At this point.. it works on training her on boundaries and safety we need. Thank you and will update on product needed.

So far so good! I have 2 Aussies on 4 acres. They are free to roam and it was so worth the money for these collars. So far no issues except jazzy chewed on gingers collar buckle and I’ve already received a new one.

Our mountain curr is a working breed that needs room to run. No need for a kennel when wearing his Spot On collar. He has the freedom to roam his designated area and I can leave him unattended. Best investment for his well being!

I have 2 Spot On collars that I have used for my Great Pyrenees dogs on the farm. The dogs trained to them very easily. We have had them for several years and it allows the dogs free roaming to the entire farm through the day.
My only wish is that the collars had a longer battery life as they need to be charged daily. It would be useful if they could go several days on a single charge.
It is nice to be able to see where the dogs are at any time since they have such a large area that they are able to patrol.

We have had the collar for a couple months and loving it so far. We’ve got a few different places we take our dog that require parameters and the collar makes things quick and easy. Only issue I’ve had which was user error on my part, but I often use a VPN on my phone which initially caused connection issues, mainly turning tracking on/off. Again this was my error and connection issues within the VPN not the collar! Once I fixed this it never fails to connect even in wooded areas. Great collar and worth the purchase!!

We absolutely love our SpotOn .i feel very comfortable leaving her in the yard while I run errands.i never worry about her leaving our yard. I highly recommend this product. It truly takes out all the worry

I have 2-10-month-old Pyrenees mix, livestock guardian Dogs. It took me two Sessions to train them. I can’t believe how intelligent these dogs are for this is the first time I’ve had these kinds of dogs on my ranch. They will not go outside of that boundary, and I only use the vocal part of the collar. I am very impressed.

This is our 3rd set of GPS collars and my boys are only a year old. I've been hesitant to review because of this but after 2 months with SpotOn I can honestly say these are a game changer. We started with Pawtronic when the boys were big enough to start training. They learned fast and they worked well for several months but with their young, active wresting, they broke the buttons on the collars, escaped chasing a deer and got stolen while they were out. By the grace of God I got them back and immediately upgraded to Petsafe Guardian which worked well for 2 weeks until we had a bad overcast weekend and it lost service. The boys chased another deer and got lost for 30 hours. After another miracle reunion, I went straight for the big guns and odered these. Although a bit pricey they are well worth it! The boys still chase deer but I love the phone app alerts me so I can start tracking immediately. The tracking app is worth the extra subscription but I love that the collars work even without a subscription and all the setting are done by phone so no buttons to break.
I am not a fan of shock correction but my stubborn kids have no option at this point. I love that the collar beeps, vibrates and then shocks if they proceed. They are finally learning to fear the shock so we've had less escape attempts in the past few weeks.
So far I am very pleased with SpotOn and customer service was a huge help when I first received them. I had an issue with a stripped prong and they replaced the collar immediately.
If you want peace of mind for your beloved fur kids, I would highly recommend.

My son's family live on a 7-acre property. Unfortunately, it is bordered on 1 side by a very busy road. When they got the grandkids a puppy I recalled seeing my dog hit by a car and killed when I was a child. I did not want to see any child go through that. After researching the options, I purchased a Spot On collar for Lucy. She learned quickly and does not cross the boundary on the road side, or any side, of the property. When the collar was right at 2 years old it quit working and Spot On quickly sent a replacement collar free of charge. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny for both the initial purchase and the monthly charges!

We had an in ground wire system with our 2 previous dogs, but is 20 yrs old and had wire breaks. Love the ability to see where Dallas is at any time in his 7 acre fence. The tracking is definitely worth it. The whistle that brings him to the house is great! Mostly, we like that it works in our woods, as well as the open field. The vibration option works very well with Dallas; love that we don’t need to use the static stimulation.
The only issue we have is when both my husband and I leave the fenced area together. Since we trained him to “ come back” toward us, it may be causing him some confusion as he comes toward us when we cross his boundary. We are working on this, but otherwise all good. We have a lot of wildlife here for him to chase, but he always stops at the boundaries. The use of flags helped a great deal in the training. Well worth the investment.

I have had three Spot On collars over a year now so I can tell you my experience with them. First let me tell you about me. I raise sheep as a side business. I have two Great Pyrenees and one Akbash. The Akbash is not often used in the fields. The two great Pyrenees live out with the sheep in 160 acre un fenced area in Oregon. I also own two Halo 4 collars. I also own two Tractive collars, and I own one Dogtra GPS collar. I switch out the Halo 4s and Spot on daily and bring the others back to charge.
This 160 acres arises from a lake and there is a valley and then steep forest all around. There are lots of trees with very dense coverage.
I keep the Tractive collars on the dogs as a backup. The battery lasts two weeks and, if for some reason the GPS perimeter collars are not working, the Tractive seems to be a good backup and have been surprisingly reliable.
Regarding accuracy, the spot on is amazingly accurate and reliable even in the deep tree cover. Their claims are valid. This is not the case with Halo 4. The inexpensive Tractive collars actually work better than expected, expecially given the long battery life, sometimes they out perform even the the Halo 4 collars. The Halo design causes the antennae to often fall to the side or sometimes even lower making reception poor and therefore accuracy suffers. Regarding accuracy, the Spot On has been the best by far, surpassing passes the Halo 4 and Tractive.
Another issue I had with the Halo 4 collars is reliability of corrections. In the early phases of having the collars and training my dogs, I found that my dogs were being corrected and shocked when they were moving back in to the yard/safe zone. Contacted the company, shut the collars down and started them back up. They worked better, but this type of error is significant. I do like how, when the Halo collars are working, they get positive reinforcement when they move back into the safe zone. I’m not sure if the spot on callers do this.
I have used the Dogtra perimeter GPS collar. It appears to be also quite accurate (separate antenna on top of collar like Spot On), but it does not connect to cellular system so it’ll keep a dog in, but you have no idea where the dog is. What I have done is use Tractive collar combined with the Dogtra GPS collar and have found that this works as a cheaper alternative to have a good perimeter collar and cellular information on the dogs position. Still, the Dogtra collar for me is a back up and often I do not use it.
I have not had to send a collar in for repair from defects. Seems to be well engineered. The Spot On collar Has been extremely reliable. I have, however, broke one of the Spot On collars. I think it fell out of the side by and got run over. The company responded extremely quickly and- they say you get one free replacement no questions asked. I have an experience this, I can say this is a true statement. They were great to work with and I was very impressed with the replacement policy and the fact that actually, yes, they stand by their word.
The Spot On collars charge quickly. They charge at least twice as fast as the my Halo 4 collars. The contacts in the charging cradle seem to always work no matter how dirty the collars have been. I’ve had problems with the Halo 4 collars when I charge them. I often cannot get a good connection and it’s gotten very frustrating especially recently. Currently having to even use sand paper to try to clean up the contacts on Halo as I have had serious problems charging. I may be contacting the company (Halo) again regarding this frustrating problem. When I go away and someone else is taking care of the dogs often they hook up the charger, but it doesn’t connect and in the next day the battery is dead.
Also on the Halo 4, I had sent in for 4 to 5 replacements within the first 4 to 5 months of owning these two Halo 4 collars. They just stopped working for various reasons. It seemed I was replacing one every month for the first 5 months of owning them. The Spot On collars have been reliable and have not had one issue regarding this issue.
Battery life. I’m getting just about 24 hours of use using the Spot On collars. If I put it in battery extended mode, I get at least another 12 hours. But in extended mode, you have limited functions on the collar. My Halo 4 collars started out at 36+ hours with full functions. But after a year the battery life is already degrading and is now close to the Spot on which is still running relatively strong.
What I wish was better? I wish i could control more using a cell signal instead of making changes only using Bluetooth. That sometimes is a pain. Have occasionally had glitches in the collar where is fails to update/work and I have to physically go back to the fields and connect with the collar- sometimes shut it off and restart. Halo can be controlled with cellular. I can turn on and off fences remotely and this is handy at times.
I Would love better battery life. Wish I could extend the life of the collar and still have decent functionality. Also, I like how the Tractive give me history of where the dogs has been and how active he is. I wish Spot On could do more of this. Of course, this all wight negatively affect battery life.
Overall in my experience, these have been the best collars for my dogs and I always feels safer when the dogs are wearing the Spot On collars. I have have excellent service when I have reached out to the company. As you can see, I have used several types of collars and, honestly, if you want accuracy and reliability, I think this is the best collar out there.

We have two dogs on 10 acres and love SpotOn! After 2+ years of use we have had zero issues. The gps is accurate, the training was easy with boundary trails - set the gps fence in neighboring property with buffer zone approaching the trails and there have been zero issues. On the rare occasions when they cannot help themselves and bound through the fence chasing turkeys or a deer the tracking functions are awesome and it's a comfort to know where they are!

Spot On collar is everything it claims to be and do. Our hound mix rescue adjusted to the collar in just a couple training sessions. Now, he is happier and so are we knowing that he is safe. And, how nice to travel with our dog knowing we can create a fence anywhere we go. Thank you for providing a good product that does what it says.

We love SpotOn! We are able to leave Lucy outside and not be concerned at all about her getting out! Would highly recommend

We have had SpotOn for our two young Blue Heelers for just over a year now. Prior to using SpotOn we used the wired invisible fencing, within a year of using that, the dogs started breaking the boundaries and did not stop. They have never done that with SpotOn, they can roam our entire 13 acres and we know that they are safe. In addition to a phenomenal collar, their customer service is unmatched. We had a damaged collar that was our fault and SpotOn worked with us to resolve the issue quickly. We would highly recommend this collar and the philosophy behind this company!

We bought two of these collars a month ago. They did a great job of keeping our Great Pyrenees in our yard. The problem is, the battery life is terrible. We weren’t even getting 24 hours on a fully charged collar. I was struggling to keep up with keeping them charged. Needless to say, my dogs and collar's have been missing for 2 days.

Hi. I’m Charley. I live on an **11-acre paradise** and before SpotOn, I *thought* I owned all of it. Turns out… there are “lines.” Invisible ones. Rude.
That said, the SpotOn Invisible Fence has been pretty amazing. I can roam the entire property freely—fields, trees, secret sniffing zones—while still being reminded (politely, I might add) not to visit the neighbors uninvited.
I spend my days **chasing birds, deer, and squirrels** (who are clearly trespassing). When I get close to the edge, SpotOn gives me a heads-up. No digging, no wires, no fences blocking my majestic sprint—just gentle reminders that freedom has boundaries.
Do I still *want* to chase the deer into the next county? Yes.
Do I respect the fence? Also yes.
My humans are happy, the wildlife is mostly safe, and I still get to patrol all 11 acres like the good dog I am.
Five paws up. Would recommend.

We have about 60 acres. She is free to roam and chase rabbits. Always know where she is and she has learned the system boundaries in about two weeks. Love it.

We live on an 1 1/2 acres of unfenced property.
At first we were leary of the Spot On system but it has turned out to be the best investment we could have made! Riley learned quickly and stays in her yard - doesn’t even leave to chase deer or another dog!
Highly recommend!

We live on a busy road with lots of other farm critters in neighboring properties. Border training was non-negotiable for us. We also have heavy tree coverage. Static collars don’t work, and GPS alone does nothing if your dogs already in the road. SpotOn was the best thing to happen to our neighborhood!! Not only do our dogs use it, all of our neighbors now also use it. We have fences for each others yards when we have doggy play dates. It’s wonderful! Our dogs are truly border trained, safe, and we couldn’t be happier.

I have 3 Great Pyrenes that work as LGD's for 150 sheep and cattle on 125 acres. We were having a few issues with them leaving about 2-3 times a week through the night due to a heavy predator load surrounding us (bobcats and coyotes). They respected fences but found a few weak spots in the perimeter fence or gates. Battery life is about 36 hours but I do have to charge them daily to ensure no lapses in dead collars - they charge very quickly. I did not do much training as they picked up very quickly. They stay about 10 feet away from the perimeter fence now and have not had any escapes in about 3-4 weeks.

It has now been 4 weeks since I started to use this collar with my 6 month old Springer. I found that walking the perimeter was the best way to make the fence but further adjustment of the boundary was quite fiddly and I wouldn't recommend doing it in the cold! Initially I tried introducing her to the boundary without flagging but she didn't seem to get it. Once I added flagging she instantly understood what I was trying to teach her. I haven't needed to use the shock option of the collar. I removed some flagging after about a week to place it on other parts of the property (I have 11 acres) but the learning endured. I've used customer service once and they were helpful. Overall, this is a wonderful product made in America and cheap when you compare it to the value of your best friend.

We recently adopted a 12 month old American pit bull terrier mix and wanted her to be able to roam our 3 acre property. The SpotOn collar has worked great. She broke through the “fence” once or twice chasing deer but now she’s very respectful of her boundaries. The training was quick and easy and the satellite reception seems solid. Glad I bought the system.

I thought I would have to re-home our very stubborn hound dog to prevent her from being run over or taken. I was skeptical that her stubbornness would render the system useless. I am so thrilled that I was wrong! We have a lot of outbuildings on the property that when she is behind them makes it hard to keep up with her. The tracking capability has saved me a lot of time and effort when figuring out where she is.

We have 30 acres in Northern Michigan and have two Wirehaired Pointing Griffon pups. They are 6 mo old now and have been using the collars for a month. This is an awesome product! It took about 3 days to train the dogs. We have only used the vibrate feature so far as it is working! We will see how that goes when the spring bunnies arrive. We have only used one map so far with a home zone. We are headed to friends this weekend and are planning on seeing how it works there. We do have the subscription and it is an awesome product. Dogs are free to roam and explore while we actually get some tasks done and can track them on the phone in real time. Thank you for helping us keep our dogs safe.

When we got our pup Tuck,we had to constantly walk him or put him on a line. As we live on 3 wooded acres and a fence wasn't an option ,Spot On was the perfect solution! Training took about a week and customer service was excellent with any questions we had.
We are all very happy now. Tuck gets to explore and be a dog and we don't have to worry.

The spot on collar along with their app works really well. In a rural area with poor internet service the tracking doesn't work well. So probably shouldn't bother paying for it. I would suggest that after your area is layed out and you begin to test your collar, place blue flags at the first beep around the whole perimeter. This gives your dog a visual along with a beep as you train. I was able to train my pup in a 1 acre area in 2 days. (Because he is a pup, he likes to snatch the flags and bring them to the porch) less work for me but he absolutely respects the fence signals as well as the fence. All In all a much easier system than a buried wire. Also like the fact I can set up multiple fences on my farm. When I want him along I can take him into another fenced area without worring about him running off. Great system my collar on full charge will last a full 12 hour day.

I love the collar itself. The company however needs to refine the design to include access to the battery. I had this collar for 16 months and it stopped working. After much remote support it was deemed the product needed to be shipped back to Spot-on for work. The issue I had here was they charge you for the shipping ~$40 and 2-3 week lead time. Support was good but for a $1500 product, not including subscription fees, it felt like Id rather fix it myself. I have experience in fixing electronics and so i tore the collar apart to identify that it was the battery that went bad. The battery replacement was $7. This product would be exponentially better if the battery was easily accessible and could be replaced. Currently, this is not the case. Overall great product. May not buy again simply due to the price tag and lack of battery access. These batteries are going to be the first thing to fail.

As a puppy, Sheena was proving to be a challenge. Due to the nature of her breed, she was a roamer forcing us to either put her in a pen and tie her up. Those options did not seem fair to Sheena. Purchasing the Spot On was a game changer. Sheena learned the boundaries quick and now has free roam of 10 acres. She loves the freedom and we love the peace of mind. We highly recommend Spot On.

The dog collars were working fine for a while. Earlier though, the dogs ran out of bounds and let's just call it a bloody mess. You would not believe what a mess it did to our dog's neck. It started shocking and wouldn't stop! I wish there was a zero star option. Unbelievable!

We are so happy to have purchased SpotOn. We use it on our 20 acres in the mountains and when traveling. This company has THE BEST customer service I have ever dealt with. They answer your questions immediately and follow up with you. I highly recommend the collar.

I don’t normally leave reviews on products but this collar has been great to use. Also I pay the yearly subscription so I am able to track her in the yard or when we go for walks and she is off leash definitely worth the money. The customer service is awesome anytime I’ve had an issue they have been extremely helpful and friendly.I would also like to note that I have a neighbor who uses a different gps collar and needless to say his dog is always in everyone’s yard.So to anyone looking to get a gps collar for their dog this is the collar .

We got our Anatolian Pyrenees, Doc when his Dad, Aero was three, and quickly realized his personality would require more attention with regards to boarders. While he was never one to bolt without reason, making sure he never left our small farm to challenge dogs being walked on our road was very important. After nearly two and a half years, thanks to SpotOn, careful training, and the right dogs, Doc is content to work within his boundaries and never leaves our partially fenced property on his own. Even our goats have borrowed the collar and learned to respect the fence programmed for them. Using SpotOn for tracking on hikes is a wonderful bonus.

I love these collars. Two labs and a Schnauzer use them. Setup and use is very intuitive. The ability to load and save different maps is awesome. We have three collars and the mess on the counter with all the cords and collars had to get cleaned up. Here’s what I did.

Mr. Benson is a rescued Bloodhound who lives a curious life as a seven month old puppy. We have a large yard and a farm that I use the collar for both places. It’s perfect. No cut lines to worry about plus the ability to go to other places. The farm is 150 acres. The most important point is SpotOn is spot on with customer service. If nothing else, I would choose SpotOn because of their support in teaching you about the collar and the eco system it works in. BTW…I rarely leave reviews but this company deserves the effort.

Poor service and not worth the money. I live on 10 acres and clear cut 3 of the acres just so this fence system would track better and yet my dogs can be standing right in front of me with good cell service to my phone and the collar and yet the system says it can’t connect to collar possibly due to low cell connection….not true. Furthermore the system is constantly telling me my dog has escaped when he is laying on the deck or in the yard and he gets a correction for no reason…this happens a lot more than it should. I had reached out to customer support but they told me nothing more than I had already done with my system. Even after clear cutting the unpredictability of the collars means I cannot put my trust in the system. That’s a lot of money to spend for so much uncertainty. I have owned this system, I think close to 2 years. I would not recommend this product based on my experience and this is for 2 dogs and 2 collars and same problems with both collars. Not impressed. Further more the collar clasps come undone all the time since they are an easy to escape design (especially if you have 2 dogs romping). One already broke and I never sent for a new part to fix it because I refuse to waste more money on the system. The remaining collar I do still use occasionally and I continue to have issues with it.
I live in the mountains of Alaska and although it is fairly dense woods its not that thick and like I said…3 acres completely clear cut and still the collar misreads all the time and corrects my dogs unprovoked. Nope, I do NOT recommend…I would look into other systems that are not this expensive.

I would not wanna own a dog, especially me having 7 acres without the spot on collar. Spot on color is a well built collar to me. It’s worth every penny I spent. He is so well trained. If I leave the collar off of him, he still will not go near the containment line money well spent.

Love it -love it -love it!!! This is my second collar, for dog #2 and they are both in the training stage right now- and it is SO EASY! They are picking up on it very quickly with just the sound warning. You can turn off the static correction if they do not need it! WELL worth the money not to have a subscription to be able to use it!!! THANKS SPOT ON!! __________
